Job summary

MPI is seeking an Area Superintendent to oversee multifamily construction projects in Portland, Maine, ensuring on-time completion within scope and to high quality standards. The Lead Super will manage safety, QA/QC, subcontractors, document control, scheduling, and client relations while guiding field crews to deliver quality work efficiently.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years of superintendent experience, a solid track record with reputable firms, and experience on multifamily projects $30M+.

Responsibilities

• Onsite daily - first job in Portland ME.
• Overseeing the envelope portion of project.
• Safety, QA/QC, Subcontractor Management, Document Control, Schedule, Relationship Management & Project Management.
• Supervision of day-to-day work in the field.
• Turning out high-quality work in the largest possible quantities for the lowest possible cost in the shortest possible time.
• Planning in advance and ensuring the flow of personnel and materials will be available.
• Managing and developing assistant super & other junior staff.
