We are seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee high‑profile ground‑up multifamily projects in Portland, Maine. This position offers leadership impact, career growth, and work in a collaborative, family‑owned general contractor environment.

Base Pay Range

$145,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Lead all on‑site construction activities for a ground‑up project in Portland, ME
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality standards to ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams for seamless execution
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with all regulations
• Resolve on‑site issues promptly to minimize delays and maintain workflow
• Communicate progress and challenges effectively to project stakeholders
• Mentor and develop assistant superintendents and field staff

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Lead Superintendent on large‑scale ground‑up projects
• Strong knowledge of multifamily or mixed‑use construction; hotel or senior living experience a plus
• Ability to manage complex schedules and multiple trades effectively
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• OSHA certification and familiarity with safety standards
• Willingness to travel or work on‑site in Portland, ME
