Qualifications

  • 5 years of construction industry experience.
  • Multifamily construction experience preferred.
  • Flooring, tile, interior finishes, or related construction experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate subcontractors, materials, vendors, and equipment according to the project schedule.
  • Monitor daily jobsite activities and ensure work remains on schedule.
  • Participate in project planning and coordination meetings.
  • Review jobsite conditions and confirm areas are ready before installation begins.
  • Coordinate job mobilization and installation activities.
  • Identify scheduling conflicts, delays, and field issues and communicate them to the project team.
  • Monitor multiple areas of the project and adjust resources as needed.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors performing work on assigned projects.
  • Ensure subcontractors complete their contracted scope of work according to project requirements.
  • Monitor subcontractor productivity, workmanship, and compliance.
  • Address deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Review subcontractor work and support payroll or production verification as required.
  • Conduct regular jobsite inspections to ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards.
  • Review completed work and identify deficiencies before they become larger issues.
  • Coordinate correction of installation and construction deficiencies.
  • Oversee punch-list activities and verify completion.
  • Ensure jobsites remain clean, organized, and professional.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and receipt at the jobsite.
  • Monitor material usage, inventory, and shortages.
  • Ensure materials are available according to the project construction sequence.
  • Coordinate appropriate storage of materials and equipment.
  • Schedule deliveries to support project timelines.
  • Assist with material allocation, additional purchases, and jobsite logistics.
  • Coordinate heavy equipment and material-handling requirements.
  • Review architectural drawings, blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications.
  • Communicate relevant drawings and installation requirements to subcontractors and field personnel.
  • Ensure work is performed according to approved plans and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate jobsite documentation and progress reports.
  • Provide regular project updates to management and project teams.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, general contractors, project managers, and subcontractors.
  • Communicate installation progress, jobsite challenges, and potential delays.
  • Respond to customer or subcontractor concerns and assist with timely resolution.
  • Maintain professional relationships with project stakeholders.
  • Escalate significant project issues when necessary.
  • Enforce jobsite safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Conduct or participate in regular safety meetings.
  • Monitor subcontractors for compliance with safety procedures.
  • Identify unsafe conditions and take immediate corrective action.
  • Maintain a clean and organized jobsite.
  • Promote a strong safety culture among all workers and subcontractors.
  • Assist with final inspections and punch-list completion.
  • Verify that subcontractor work is complete and meets project requirements.
  • Support project closeout and turnover activities.
  • Ensure required documentation and project information are submitted on time.
