Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role.
• Proven track record of managing garden style, ground-up, wood frame construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, OSHA guidelines, and rules & regulations.
• Exceptional leadership and management skills with an ability to lead a diverse team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all construction activities related to wood frame multi-family projects, ensuring that specifications and quality standards are met.
• Develop and maintain the construction schedule in conjunction with project team to meet project deadlines.
• Establish and manage relationships with team members, subcontractors, clients, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure safety on the project site by implementing safety protocols and guidelines.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that the work is progressing as per the schedule and that the workmanship meets the quality standards.
• Manage and resolve day-to-day field issues, conflicts, and discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit daily reports and other documentation, as required.
• Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts.
• Monitor costs, including labor time and material.
