Job summary

Lampire Biological Laboratories is seeking a hands-on Landscaping & Grounds Manager to take ownership of our multi-facility grounds. This full-time, year-round role involves planning, implementing, and maintaining outdoor spaces and seasonal décor while leading the landscaping team.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing inventory and project costs, and coordinating with facilities to ensure safe, attractive grounds.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license in good standing for at least 3 years.
• Prior management experience required.
• Good oral and written communications skills (English).
• Good organizational skills with ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Windows-based computer skills; familiarity with Word and Excel.
• Ability to travel to other Lampire facilities as needed.
• Eye for detail; pride in work.
• Knowledge of perennials, annuals, trees and shrubs; passion for planting design.
• Ability to operate power equipment safely.
• Ability to perform all work safely and interact with others safely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure grounds and facilities are maintained to high standards for safety and appearance.
• Regular inspection of the grounds to maintain appearance and functionality.
• Manage inventory needed for daily work.
• Monitor costs of landscaping projects.
• Manage greenhouse operations.
• Responsible for seasonal decorations at multiple facilities.
• Perform seasonal maintenance including snow removal and ground prep.
• Other duties as assigned.
