Level Green Landscaping is seeking a dynamic Maintenance Operations Manager for our Montgomery County, MD branch. The role leads daily landscape maintenance, schedules crews, manages safety protocols, and drives client satisfaction across service areas.

The ideal candidate has deep leadership experience in grounds maintenance, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Aspire. A valid US driver’s license and willingness to work Saturdays are required.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in commercial landscaping or grounds maintenance and three years in a management role.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn Aspire software.
• Spanish bilingual is a plus but not required.
• Passion for quality work and customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of native plants and horticulture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple landscape maintenance crews: scheduling labor, ordering materials, coordinating equipment, and managing subcontractors.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager on recruiting, hiring, and developing a skilled crew.
• Provide hands-on training and leadership to crew leaders and crew members.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company protocols.
• Perform site inspections, monitor irrigation, plants, and turf health, address issues proactively.
• Maintain clear communication with account managers, vendors, and team to deliver outstanding service.
• Work with account managers to meet clients’ property needs.

In this role, you will oversee daily maintenance operations, manage scheduling, enforce safety protocols, and inspire your team to achieve beyond expectations. You'll be the go-to person ensuring smooth workflows and exceptional client satisfaction across our service areas.

• Demonstrating teamwork capabilities by working in tandem with account managers to meet clients' property needs

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial landscaping or grounds maintenance and three (3) years in a grounds/commercial landscaping management position.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Suite and the ability to learn company software such as Aspire.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
• A passion for quality work and customer satisfaction.
• Proficiency with native plants and horticultural knowledge
• At least 21 years old and willing to work Saturdays and in various weather conditions.
• A valid U.S. driver's license and authorization to work in the United States.

Salary: $60,000-$80,000 annually (based upon experience)
