Job summary

Aureon Consulting is seeking a hands‑on Platform Engineer to lead the evolution of a resilient, automated multi‑cloud foundation across AWS and Azure. You will design, engineer, and operate shared cloud foundations and ensure governance and security patterns are built in by design.

This builder role emphasizes scalable landing zones, IaC, and durable platform services enabling dozens of teams to move faster and safer in the cloud.

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on background in cloud, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• Demonstrated experience designing and operating landing zones in AWS and/or Azure.
• Advanced proficiency with Infrastructure as Code best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise‑grade cloud foundations across AWS and Azure.
• Establish scalable account and subscription models with org structures and lifecycle management.
• Build and maintain shared platform services supporting workload teams across environments.
• Ensure platform consistency and governance across cloud providers using native capabilities.
• Own ongoing evolution of the platform through upgrades, refactoring and debt reduction.
• Develop and operate cloud foundations using IaC and create CI/CD pipelines for platform deployments.
