Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners, LLC seeks a Lead Cloud Infrastructure Software Engineer to lead platform engineering, architect scalable cloud platforms, automate operations, and enhance developer productivity across a large enterprise.

You will mentor engineers, shape platform strategy and cloud adoption, design secure, resilient infrastructure patterns, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver cloud-native solutions that reduce operational friction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software or platform engineering in large-scale environments.
• Experience with cloud-native microservices architectures.
• 3+ years building/operating production services in Python or Java.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, containers, APIs, and cloud providers.
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform.
• Proven CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience creating self-service automation to boost productivity.
• Solid observability, monitoring, and resiliency practices.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
