Job summary

Q2 is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering organization. You will help build, operate, and improve secure, reliable cloud infrastructure and platform services that support business-critical applications.

Our team collaborates with engineering, DevOps, security, and architecture to deliver scalable cloud environments across Azure and AWS. The role requires 5+ years in Cloud/Platform Engineering with strong Azure and Terraform experience, plus Kubernetes in production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; 5+ years of related experience.
• Hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and platform engineering practices.
• Experience with AWS cloud services is preferred; open to learning AWS environments.
• Proficient with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools, especially Terraform and modern CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production workloads, including AKS/EKS.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, security, IAM, and observability practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and platform services with Azure as the primary cloud platform.
• Support AWS-based infrastructure and multi-cloud initiatives; willingness to learn and build proficiency.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot containerized workloads with Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
• Integrate cloud infrastructure and automation into CI/CD workflows.
