The MCL also teaches students part of the time. The position focuses on analyzing student learning data, adjusting instruction for high-growth outcomes, and supporting reach associates.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the subject matter being taught
• Bachelor’s degree
• Must have a continuing license
• Prior evidence of high-growth student learning in the relevant subjects
• Ideally, experience leading a team of adults to accomplish goals
• Demonstrated effectiveness working with people from diverse backgrounds
• Evidence of taking initiative

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of teachers and paraprofessionals, coaching residents and supporting student growth.
• Co-plan, co-teach, model, coach and provide feedback to the team.
• Organize the team to analyze student learning data and adjust instruction to ensure high-growth learning for every child, with emphasis on small-group teaching and tutoring.
• Teach students part of the time and guide reach associates as needed.
• Engage families, coordinate with the principal and school leadership to align instructional vision and practice.
