Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools seeks a Teacher, Multi-Classroom Leader 2 (MCL2) to intensively coach 7-8 teachers on his/her caseload and lead a high-performing team focused on increasing student outcomes. The role centers on co-teaching, modeling, small-group instruction, and regular coaching cycles under principal supervision.

The MCL2 will organize team roles, set goals, and collaborate with the principal to choose, evaluate and develop staff. Daily coaching and prep time are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be in the CMS Teacher Leader Pathway Talent Pool as an MCL2.
• Certified Schedule/ Full-time, 10 months
• Non-Title I School: $13,750 supplemental
• Title 1 School: $18,250 supplemental

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching to 7-8 teachers on the MCL2 caseload.
• Lead a team of teachers and support staff; review student progress and adjust instruction.
• Collaborate with principal and ILT to analyze data and develop action plans.
• Model and practice effective instructional strategies and feedback.
• Allocate roles and time to optimize teaching across the team.
• Maintain regular communication with families to support student learning.
