T. Rowe Price in Baltimore, MD seeks an Investment Director to lead model portfolio design within the Models Investment Team, translating client objectives into scalable solutions.

You will engage clients and distribution partners, refine asset allocations, and help shape model offerings with market insights. This hybrid role combines investment expertise with client-facing communication in a fast-growing franchise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required AND 7+ years of relevant investment experience, focused on portfolio construction, multi-asset investing, model portfolios, or related discipline.
• Advanced degree (CFA, MBA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience working with financial advisors, RIAs, wealth management firms, platforms, or institutional clients.
• Strong writing skills and experience developing investment commentary, presentations, or thought leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the early stages of custom model development by translating client objectives, investment preferences, constraints, and platform requirements into portfolio frameworks.
• Partner with Portfolio Managers to refine portfolio recommendations, prepare proposals, and present model solutions to clients and prospects.
• Support the ongoing oversight, review, and evolution of custom model portfolios and contribute market perspective on asset allocation and implementation discussions.
• Advise clients on model portfolio construction, model selection, and onboarding of new model portfolio relationships.
