Qualifications

• Valid Iowa Coaching Endorsement or Coaching Authorization.
• Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills.
• Coaching and/or leadership experience.
• Knowledge of overall operations of an athletic program.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Knowledge of conference rules and regulations.
• CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the athletic program as a coach.
• Develop practice schedules and oversee development of individuals and teams.
• Instruct players on rules, equipment, and techniques.
• Ensure compliance with district/state regulations for athletics.
• Maintain student behavior standards and supervise athletes.
• Coordinate with head coach and staff on scheduling and program operations.
• Monitor academic performance to ensure eligibility.
