Job summary

NextGen Federal Systems seeks a Chief Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer to lead MS&A efforts across missile, space, IAMD, and weapon-system analysis in Dayton, Aurora, or Huntsville. Qualifications

• 10+ years of systems engineering, modeling and simulation, digital engineering, or mission engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams performing missile, space, IAMD, aerospace, or weapon-system modeling and analysis.
• Experience developing and executing system-level and mission-level simulations to support engineering decisions, architecture assessments, trade studies, and mission effectiveness analysis.
• Experience in missile trajectories, guidance/navigation/control, engagement analysis, orbital mechanics, sensor performance, and related domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead MS&A engineering efforts defining strategy, architecture, and analytical approach for simulation and mission engineering activities.
• Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams of systems engineers, M&S engineers, software engineers, and mission analysts.
• Develop roadmaps and MS&A priorities based on objectives and customer requirements.
• Present analytical results, trade studies, and recommendations to Government customers and program leadership.
• Establish MS&A best practices, workflows, tools, data, and enabling technologies.
• Develop integrated MS&A workflows connecting models to evaluate end-to-end mission performance and system effectiveness.
• Automate scenario generation, model execution, data processing, optimization, visualization, and results assessment.
• Lead verification and validation to ensure credibility and repeatability of results.
• Oversee a multi-tenant digital engineering environment integrating multiple modeling, simulation, and analysis tools.
• Define APIs, adapters, and interfaces to connect modeling, simulations, data sources, and analytical tools.
• Containerize, deploy, and test capabilities in cloud and on-premises environments.
