Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Lead MRI Technologist to lead a team, perform advanced MRI procedures, and ensure high-quality patient care. The role emphasizes supervision, mentoring, and adherence to safety and accreditation standards.

The Lead MRI Technologist will manage daily MRI operations, oversee staff performance, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate imaging for diagnosis. This is a full-time day-shift position within our MA facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing, depending on State regulations and business need.
• Five years MRI imaging experience.
• One year mentoring/serving as a resource and process-improvement proponent.
• Licensing as Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise MRI technologists and mentor team members.
• Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images.
• Ensure safety protocols and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain equipment, RIS records, and imaging protocols.
• Participate in hiring, training, and performance reviews.
