Job summary

Akumin is seeking a Lead MRI Technologist for our Charlotte, NC facility. You will lead patient imaging sessions, ensure safety, and coordinate with radiologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

You will train new staff, maintain equipment, and support efficient daily operations while ensuring compassionate patient care with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Registered Technologist by ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS.
• State license as required.
• CPR certification.
• Active state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic MRI images.
• Ensure patient safety including pre-screening for contraindications and aseptic technique.
• Order supplies, clean unit, and assist in preparing for transport.
• Effectively communicate with patients and radiologists.
• Train new technologists and/or PC's.

This will be full-time position.Our LEAD MRI technologists use exceptional communication skills to connect with patients, explain the procedure and put them at ease.
