Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an experienced Event Center General Manager for Black Rock Mountain Resort in Utah. You will lead daily operations, align the Event Center with Resort leadership, and drive guest experiences across ice-related and multi-purpose events.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and event-management skills, with oversight of staffing, safety, and coordination with tenants, promoters, vendors, and authorities to maximize venue rentals and profitability.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in event venue or hospitality operations.
• Experience coordinating complex events (public/private, sports, trade shows, conferences).
• Knowledge of arena operations, safety, and guest service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the Event Center and related hotel activities.
• Coordinate with Resort leadership to align venue and resort opportunities.
• Oversee sales, marketing, and booking plans; monitor pace and plans.
• Plan event execution including staffing, security, parking, and food & beverage.
• Manage financial performance, budgets, labor, and cost control.
• Develop operating plans, safety procedures, and staffing guides.
• Coordinate with tenants, sponsors, vendors, and authorities for events.
• Communicate objectives and performance to Owner representatives and leadership.
