You will use GPS and automatic grade control systems, lead by example, manage small crews, and maintain equipment. Attention to safety and quality is essential, with extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a motorgrader and performing fine grading.
• Ability to read and follow project specifications precisely.
• Strong safety mindset and compliance with OSHA/MSHA rules.

Responsabilités

• Mentor crew by demonstrating fine grading techniques and leading by example.
• Ensure punctuality, dependability, and professional conduct.
• Operate the motorgrader safely, perform daily fluid checks and inspections.
• Fine grade surfaces within ½ inch of specified grade.
• Use GPS and grade-control systems to set and verify grades.
• Coordinate small crews and oversee grading operations.
• Maintain equipment and report issues to the Site Leader.
• Support safety initiatives and attend daily meetings.
• Restore disturbed areas to original condition or better.
• Communicate planned absences in advance to maintain staffing.
• Work extended hours as needed to meet project demands.
