Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking a Motor Grader Fine Blade operator to work on grading projects across Texas. You will operate a motor grader, using GPS and conventional techniques to prepare subgrade for road construction.

The role requires the ability to read plans, follow safety procedures, and perform routine equipment maintenance. On-the-job training is provided, with emphasis on accuracy and efficiency on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience.
• Certification required.
• Experience operating motor grader is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate motor grader safely and efficiently per company standards.
• Align machine with reference stakes and guidelines on the ground.
• Attach different blades or attachments to equipment as needed.
• Read and understand plans and specifications.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections, grease and oil as required.
