The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, able to read blueprints or excavation plans, and able to collaborate with the crew. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, and familiarity with grade control systems helps ensure precise

Qualifications

• Operate motor grader safely and efficiently on job sites.
• Maintain grader and perform routine safety checks.
• Read grade plans and withstand tolerances with grade checker when needed.
• Be punctual, reliable, organized and detail oriented.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate the grader and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily maintenance, cleaning, and safety checks.
• Proficient with grader controls including cutting grade and finishing base course.
• Observe reference stakes and signals to meet tolerances.
• Understand roadway plans and grades; assist as needed on site.
• Lead crew tasks when required and coordinate with teammates.
• Follow safety rules and transport materials around job sites.
