Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Infant Guide in New Jersey to lead a mixed-age infant classroom in a Montessori environment designed to support independence, movement, and discovery.

Qualifications

• Interest in pursuing sponsored Montessori certification or a Montessori diploma
• Experience with children ages 0-3 in group care
• Alignment with Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or similar approaches

Responsibilities

• Observe each child to support development across physical, emotional, and cognitive domains
• Respect and follow each child's natural rhythms for sleeping, eating, and toileting
• Prepare and maintain an orderly environment that fosters movement and exploration
• Support independence by encouraging children to participate in care activities
• Build warm relationships with children and families
• Collaborate with parents to support growth and development
• Lead and work with the classroom team to build a respectful community
