Job summary

Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Infant Guide to oversee a mixed-age infant classroom (0–3) in a thoughtfully designed Montessori environment. You will observe each child, prepare the classroom for independent exploration, and provide individualized care that honors each child’s rhythm and needs.

You will build strong relationships with families, support independence through daily routines, and collaborate with the classroom team to create a respectful community.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 0–3 in a group care setting.
• Pursuit of Montessori certification or Montessori diploma preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree and ECE credits required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Observe each child to support their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Prepare and maintain a Montessori classroom that fosters movement and independence.
• Support children’s daily care activities while encouraging autonomy.
• Build warm relationships with children and families and partner with parents.
