Job summary

Guidepost Montessori is hiring a Lead Infant Guide to direct a mixed-age infant classroom (0–3) in a thoughtfully designed Montessori environment. You will observe children, respect natural rhythms, and provide individualized care that supports independence and confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience with children ages 0–3 in group care settings.
• Alignment with Montessori or similar child-led philosophies.
• Bachelor’s degree and ECE/Child Development credits required.

Responsibilities

• Observe each child to support physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Follow each child’s natural rhythms for sleep, meals, and toileting.
• Prepare and maintain an orderly environment fostering movement and exploration.
• Encourage independence by involving children in care activities.
• Build warm relationships with children and families.
• Collaborate with parents and lead classroom team members.
