Job summary

Net2Source Inc. is hiring a Sr. Scientist in Sunnyvale, CA for a 12-month assignment. The role focuses on designing and executing complex molecular diagnostic experiments, including in vitro PCR assays for infectious diseases.

The successful candidate will lead analytical studies, interpret large data sets (PCR/qPCR, sequencing) and guide junior scientists in a fast-paced BSL-2 environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biological Science required with 2+ years of industry or academic experience.
• Experience spearheading feasibility, optimization, verification and validation of molecular diagnostic assays.

Responsibilities

• Design, set up and execute complex experiments including data collection, summary, and analysis to meet project objectives.
• Apply analytical problem-solving strategies for development of real-time PCR tests for infectious diseases.
• Perform rigorous analytical studies to demonstrate technical feasibility of complex assays.
• Provide data-driven direction to junior scientific colleagues.
