Job summary

Hoffer Plastics Corporation seeks a Lead Molding Foreman for 1st shift to supervise the molding operation, ensure part quality, train and mentor staff, and uphold 5S standards. You will drive efficiency, safety, and strong teamwork across home plant operations and provide support to other plants on the shift.

The role requires 5+ years in injection molding, 1+ year supervisory experience, and strong mechanical/technical skills with training in Engel and IQMS ERP.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with injection molding processes, machines and tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise plant operations on your assigned shift.
• Maintain efficient use of resources including personnel, machines, materials and auxiliary equipment for your home plant(s) as well as the other plants on your shift.
• Enforce all company policies, rules and regulations.
• Conduct performance appraisals and recommend transfers, promotions and pay increases when appropriate.
• Work with Human Resources on disciplinary actions, employee complaints and discharges.
• Serve as 1st responder for emergencies (AED trained).
• Complete one walk around the entire building at 1:00am to ensure people and the building are secure.
