Job summary
Sunrock in North Carolina is seeking a Mobile Truck Technician to service and maintain our fleet of mixer trucks, dump trucks, trailers and related equipment. You will perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs, with autonomy to plan and execute tasks under policy guidelines.
The role requires strong mechanical expertise, problem-solving, and the ability to work with Manufacturer software; you will lead technicians, coordinate with the Fleet Manager, and ensure records in the CMMIS
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; two-year technical training preferred.
- 5+ years of related experience or training required.
- Valid North Carolina Driver’s License required.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and inspections on diesel- and gasoline-powered mobile equipment.
- Lead and support fellow mechanics, providing technical guidance and assisting with parts requisitions.
- Diagnose malfunctions using manufacturers' software and testing equipment.
- Maintain accurate labor, materials, and completed work records in CMMIS.
- Research technical information and fabricate components from blueprints or schematics.
