Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy and medium duty equipment.
• Pass a Ryder drug test and DOT/physical requirements, and background checks.
• Must have the tools required by Ryder's Maintenance policy 2.02.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customer and independently facilitate preventative maintenance and repair estimates.
• Road test vehicles to identify causes of complaints and ensure quality of repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and vehicle repairs per PM procedures.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and document work performed.
