Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Mobile Maintenance Diesel Technician in Winston Salem, NC to service heavy-duty vehicles with a Ryder Mobile Maintenance Truck. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for certification bonuses and quarterly bonuses.

The technician will perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines, brakes, electrical systems, and related components. A valid CDL and hands-on mechanical experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years+ experience with mechanical repairs on heavy/medium duty equipment preferred.
• Must have minimum tools per policy.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to discuss preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Road test vehicles to identify causes of complaints and ensure repair quality.
• Perform PMs and repairs across applicable systems (A/C, brakes, electrical, etc.).
• Maintain proper maintenance records and ensure compliance with company policies.
