Job summary

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, seeks a Lead Mobile Building Engineer in San Francisco, CA. You will oversee maintenance across multiple buildings, handling facility equipment installation, repair, and preventive maintenance to ensure safe operations.

The role requires 5+ years in building maintenance with leadership experience and offers an hourly rate of $88.28 with weekly pay, plus union benefits and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial building maintenance, facilities management, or building engineering.
• 2+ years of experience leading maintenance teams or serving in a senior building engineer capacity.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and controls, electrical distribution, plumbing, BAS, and fire safety.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and is responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs at the facility.
• Schedules emergency repair activities based on priority and staff abilities.
• Provides technical advice and instruction in electric theory, mechanical, hydraulic systems and safety procedures.
• Performs equipment inspections and ensures proper maintenance per AES standards.
• Maintains and repairs buildings, utilities, grounds and equipment.
• Optimizes HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems maintenance and repair.
• Troubleshoots and repairs to resolve issues efficiently.
• Trains and collaborates with other engineering team members.
• Promotes energy conservation and continuous improvement in engineering functions.
• Maintains building logbooks and records equipment data per codes and policies.
• Participates with the Chief Engineer and management in communications with tenants and staff.
