Job summary

ABM Industries seeks a Mobile Building Engineer to cover multiple sites with 100% travel across Southern California, including San Diego, LA, and OC. You’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems while ensuring safe building operations.

You must hold a valid driver's license and be able to travel to various locations. EPA 608 and OSHA certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as Mobile Building Engineer, Building Engineer, or Maintenance Technician.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 100%.
• EPA 608 and OSHA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel 100% between assigned buildings to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Respond to emergency service calls and on-call requests.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair to ensure safe building operations.
• Document work orders and PMs using CMMS.
• Coordinate with vendors and communicate with site contacts.
• Follow ABM safety policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Job description

ABM is seeking a Mobile Building Engineer to support multiple client sites through 100% travel. This role requires expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance, ensuring safe and efficient operations across diverse environments.

Pay:$35.50 hourly rate | Weekly pay

Shift: Monday - Friday | 8am - 4:30pm

Location: Covering San Diego, Los Angeles and Orange County

The pay listed is the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities:
