Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Technical certifications or associate degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial building maintenance or facilities management.
• 2+ years leading maintenance teams or as a senior building engineer.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BAS, and fire life safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive maintenance and repair operations at the facility.
• Schedule emergency repairs based on priority and staff availability.
• Provide technical guidance on electric theory, mechanical, hydraulic systems and safety.
• Inspect equipment and ensure AES standards are followed.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance for department work.
• Maintain buildings, utilities, grounds and equipment.
• Optimize HVAC, electrical and plumbing maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair system problems efficiently.
• Keep equipment running continuously through diagnostics.
• Train and mentor engineering staff.
• Promote energy conservation and continuous improvement.
• Record data in logbooks and daily entries.
• Conduct utility and equipment tests; document per codes.
• Handle administrative tasks; collaborate with team.
• Be an active, contributing team member.
