Blue Origin in California seeks a Principal mmWave IC Design Engineer to drive state-of-the-art RF/mmWave front-end chip development. You will design power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, phase shifters, VGAs, mixers, and synthesizers, primarily in silicon technologies, translating system requirements into chip-level specifications.

This onsite role involves collaboration with RF system engineers, EM simulations, and supervision of chip-level integration.

Qualificações

• B.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in millimeter-wave/RFIC design with SiGe, CMOS, SOI.
• Experience with mmWave front-ends and integrated on-chip implementations.
• Modeling and simulation of TX/RX chains for complex modulated signals.
• EM simulations for on-chip and package components.
• US citizenship, permanent resident, or eligible to work in the US.

Responsabilidades

• Design RF/mmWave front-end chipsets (PAs, LNAs, phase shifters, VGAs, mixers, synthesizers).
• Partner with RF system engineers to translate requirements into chip specs.
• Design and simulate on-chip EM structures and co-optimize IC/package interfaces.
• Supervise front-end integration and optimization through development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with third-party design partners.
