Responsibilities

• Provide laboratory testing according to physician orders and perform routine testing across departments.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and participate in quality control procedures.
• Assist in training and orientation of lab staff and students as approved by the director.
• Document test results and ensure confidentiality and proper release to authorized parties.
• Respond to critical values and participate in competency testing and hospital activities.
