Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson - Laboratory Department in Festus, MO is seeking a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform accurate, timely laboratory testing and report results to clinical teams. Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• MT(ASCP) or equivalent certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3 years of clinical laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform laboratory tests and report results promptly.
• Evaluate and report test results in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain quality control, instrument maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with staff and patients.
