Qualifications

• BS in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field is required.
• MLS certification or eligibility preferred (ASCP).
• Externship completed is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs analytical tests on biological specimens in a timely, accurate manner.
• Ensures specimen acceptability and monitors results following protocols.
• Maintains quality control and confirms results before release to physicians.
• Operates and troubleshoots laboratory equipment; maintains a safe work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
