Qualifications

• BS in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field from CLIA-approved program (required).
• MLS certification or eligible (ASCP preferred) within 12 months of hire.
• 2 years of clinical lab experience required; 5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs the duties of a Medical Lab Scientist.
• Assists Technical Specialist with new procedures and policies.
• Coordinates proficiency testing to ensure timely analysis and review.
• Recommends system changes to improve workflow efficiency.
• Completes schedules and updates time for daily operations.
• Fulfills compliance responsibilities related to the position.
