Job summary

Rainbow Restoration of Chesapeake is seeking a Mitigation Lead Technician to supervise field crews on water damage, mold remediation, and other emergency restoration projects. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes safe, efficient work and strong documentation.

You will lead technicians, coordinate with the Project Manager, and ensure jobsites stay organized and professional while delivering outstanding service to customers during stressful situations.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, water mitigation, or mold remediation.
• Ability to lead a team on a jobsite and direct other technicians.
• Emphasis on accurate documentation and following procedures.
• Good communication with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Willingness to work after-hours, weekends, and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians on water mitigation, mold and emergency remediation projects.
• Perform water extraction, cleaning, drying, and equipment setup.
• Take moisture readings and document progress.
• Set up containment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Take jobsite photos/videos and complete field documentation.
• Communicate progress to Project Manager/Division Manager.
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites.
• Provide professional service to customers during stressful situations.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
