Job summary

Warrior Met Coal, Inc. seeks a Training Instructor to deliver classroom, surface, and underground training at our Brookwood, Alabama facilities.

You will lead experienced miner training, new miner training, and first aid/EMR courses while upholding the Warrior Way of safety, integrity, and teamwork. Responsibilities include preparing materials, delivering engaging PowerPoint-based content, developing new courses, and maintaining training records in Office/SharePoint.

Qualifications

• Current MSHA underground and surface instructor certifications.
• Current Alabama Mine Foreman certification.
• Experience working in both underground and surface mining operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint, with strong knowledge of PowerPoint and the ability to create, edit, and deliver presentations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct underground and surface experienced miner training and underground and surface new miner training.
• Teach first aid courses, including CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS), and other emergency-response topics.
• Provide safety training and hands-on instruction in the classroom, at surface work locations, or underground as needed.
• Prepare classrooms, training aids, equipment, and course materials before each class.
• Create, edit, and deliver clear, engaging PowerPoint presentations and other training materials.
• Develop new training courses and update existing courses to reflect changes in equipment, operations, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate training records and organize materials in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
