Job summary

Warrior Met Coal seeks a Training Instructor for new miners at our Brookwood, AL facilities. This role focuses on classroom and underground instruction to build on-the-job skills that promote safety and health.

Up to 75% underground training may be required, with emphasis on safety standards and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has five years of underground mining experience, at least one year in training, and holds MSHA Underground Instructor Qualification.

Qualifications

• Five years underground mining experience.
• One year of training experience.
• Holds current MSHA Underground Instructor Qualification.
• Thorough knowledge of basic mining practices and general labor skills.

Responsibilities

• Classroom Instruction of inexperienced miner classes.
• Underground skill training and instruction at the job site.
• Develop new training courses as assigned.
• Update existing training courses as needed to keep pace with technology and regulatory requirements.
