Job summary

Warrior Met Coal is seeking a training instructor for new miners at our Brookwood, Alabama facilities. This role requires delivering engaging classroom and underground instruction to build on-the-job skills and promote safety and health.

You will train up to 75% underground, develop and update training courses, and ensure material aligns with regulatory requirements. A strong emphasis on safety, professionalism, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Five years’ underground mining experience.
• One year of training experience.
• Holds current MSHA Underground Instructor Qualification.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office/SharePoint; ability to create/edit PowerPoint presentations and store classroom materials digitally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; enthusiastic training style.

Responsibilities

• Classroom instruction of inexperienced miner classes.
• Underground skill training and instruction at the job site.
• Develop new training courses as assigned.
• Update existing training courses to keep pace with technology and regulatory requirements.
