Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to oversee the development and construction of mining support facilities near Welkom, Free State. You will lead planning, design, procurement and on-site execution to ensure safety, on-time delivery and quality.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in industrial or mining construction, a relevant degree (Construction Management or Civil Engineering), professional registration (PrCM/PrEng preferred), and strong knowledge of MS Project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Professional registration (PrCM, PrEng) is highly advantageous.
• A minimum of 12 years of comprehensive project management experience in construction, with large-scale industrial/mining projects.
• Strong knowledge of MS Project and Primavera; contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for planning, execution and completion of mining support facilities projects; develop detailed plans, budgets and schedules.
• Manage on-site activities, subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel; ensure safety, regulatory compliance and quality.
• Monitor progress against timelines and budgets; manage risks and present status to senior management.
