Kiewit Mining Group seeks a Front Line Supervisor – Equipment Maintenance to lead day-to-day maintenance operations, supervising crews up to 20 and upholding safety, quality, and schedule standards at mining and heavy civil sites. The role requires a strong technical background in maintaining and repairing surface mining and heavy equipment, plus excellent communication and team development skills.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a Front Line Supervisor in mining or heavy civil operations.
• Familiar with MSHA operations and safety standards.
• Demonstrated ethics, integrity and safety focus.
• Excellent communication and team development skills.
• Ability to work shift work including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise up to 20 maintenance personnel, including mechanics, welders, and electricians.
• Develop daily assignments, monitor performance and safety, and conduct assessments.
• Coordinate work plans, manpower, and equipment needs with stakeholders.
• Inspect shop and field conditions, troubleshoot issues, and control costs.
• Ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines and schedules.
