Job summary

Goebel is seeking a Lead Millwork Project Drafter to join our Engineering team in Hutchinson, MN. You will develop approval, shop, and production drawings for custom architectural millwork and fixtures from design through installation.

This hands-on leadership role requires interpreting design intent, coordinating a drafting team, and ensuring buildable, accurate drawings while aligning with schedule, budget, and production needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of drafting, detailing, design or related experience in architectural millwork or similar manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, shop drawings, and millwork construction.
• Experience coordinating complex projects or directing the work of other drafters/designers.

Responsibilities

• Develop approval, shop, and production drawings for custom millwork and fixtures.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Production, and other departments.
• Delegate work and review for accuracy and consistency.
