Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent is required.
• State Teacher Certification is required.
• Specialty or highly qualified credential is preferred.
• 1–3 years of urban teaching experience is preferred.
• Experience working with students and families in urban communities is expected.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and virtual learning platforms is required.
• Proven track record of student achievement results is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead instruction and classroom management for scholars.
• Develop and implement daily instruction plans aligned to goals.
• Employ differentiated, research-based instructional strategies.
• Conduct interim assessments and analyze data to guide instruction.
• Maintain accurate records including attendance, behavior, and progress reports.
• Communicate with parents and families regarding student progress.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
• Support scholar recruitment efforts as needed.
