Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC seeks a supervisory leader for the Microbiology department in Wilson, NC. You will manage scientists and technicians, drive training, and ensure timely testing of materials, in-process and finished products while maintaining GMP and USP/EP standards.

You will also develop SOPs, lead investigations into deviations, and collaborate with Production, QA, Chemistry and Maintenance to ensure quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily activities of scientists and technicians to meet deadlines.
• Hires and trains department staff, ensuring morale and development.
• Conducts performance evaluations.
• Maintains monitoring and testing programs for materials and finished products.
• Ensures GMP, USP/EP compliance and validates processes.
• Develops SOPs for Microbiology procedures.
• Investigates non-conforming materials and determines disposition.
• Collaborates with Production, QA, Chemistry, Maintenance, Metrology and Validation.
• Acts as Manager in the absence of the supervisor.
• Represents the department in cross-functional teams.
