Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a skilled MEP Manager in Lockhart, Texas to lead the coordination of MEP trades on major construction projects. The role requires at least 10 years of experience in construction or MEP coordination, with a preferred Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering. Responsibilities encompass overseeing subcontractors, conducting quality site visits, and facilitating the startup of MEP systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Construction/MEP Coordination.
• Experience managing project teams in a construction environment.
• Experience dealing with MEP subcontracts and subcontractors.
• Extensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and low-voltage systems.
• General understanding of Building Codes, Mechanical Codes, Electrical Codes, Plumbing Codes, and Green Building Codes.
• In-depth knowledge of LEED as it relates to commissioning credits.

Responsibilities

• Lead the effort in coordinating and managing MEP trades.
• Assist with developing detailed CPM schedules for MEP installation activities.
• Conduct site visits to review quality of subcontractor installation.
• Coordinate activities with MEP Specialist and Project Team.
• Estimate and scope MEP trades during pre-construction.
