Job summary

RMF Engineering, Inc. is seeking an MEP BIM Manager in Charleston, SC. The role focuses on setting up and managing HVAC, fire protection, electrical, and plumbing BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD across education, public safety, hospitality and healthcare sectors.

Responsibilities include developing department BIM standards, creating workflows, training staff, and ensuring quality control across projects. Occasional travel to RMF offices is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate’s Degree in Architectural/Engineering/Construction technology or similar.
• Proficient in BIM practices, standards and techniques.
• 10+ years experience with Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Manages creation and approval of BIM content per RMF and client standards.
• Establishes and updates BIM processes, workflows and procedures.
• Leads BIM interoperability with design/engineering tools.
• Develops BIM training for staff and provides ongoing support.
• Speaks for BIM standards and coordinates with senior leadership.
