Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a dedicated Teacher to lead, coach, and mentor fellow educators in the classroom, while implementing our curriculum to meet the diverse needs of each child. You will create a safe, nurturing space for play and learning and actively connect with parents to provide the best possible care and education.

This role supports center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, and fosters positive relationships with families and communities.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy required (preferred state trainer).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to support the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
