Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Teacher to lead and mentor fellow staff while providing high-quality early childhood education. The role requires implementing the curriculum, creating a safe, nurturing environment, and engaging with families to support children's growth.

You will work with center teams to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and community engagement goals, building strong relationships with families, licensing authorities, and partners across our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy required or willing to obtain.
• Approved state trainer status preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must be physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
