Arbour Hospital in Quincy is seeking a Lead Mental Health Associate to joining our caring treatment team. You will help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and provide routine patient care in a psychiatric setting, with weekend rotation.

You demonstrate empathy, strong communication, and the ability to respond calmly in crises while collaborating with a diverse team across programs and services to support patient progress and family engagement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
• College student who have obtained or are pursuing their degree in behavioral health, psychology, or human services are preferred
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Impeccable Judgment & professionalism
• Ability to maintain composure in a crisis situation

Responsabilités

• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
• Provide routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment
• Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors
• Assist with patient groups and activities
• Work with culturally and generationally diverse populations to meet their individual needs
• Provide trauma informed and age-specific care
• Maintain therapeutic boundaries and utilize crisis intervention techniques
